One of the most renowned and cherished bands in the Neapolitan Nu Folk scene, Ars Nova Napoli, offers a unique reinterpretation of traditional southern Italian songs alongside original compositions.
Breaking free from stylistic conventions, they artfully weave a tapestry of Mediterranean melodies that have influenced them. Their live performances showcase a powerful stage presence, filling venues and captivating audiences of all ages and backgrounds. With a blend of skillful harmonies, instrumental interplay, and an infectious party groove, Ars Nova renews the traditional role of music as a social gathering and source of unity.
In recent years, Ars Nova has taken their music to audiences worldwide, participating in events such as the Mosul Traditional Fest – UNESCO in Iraq, Erbil Tradition in Kurdistan, Seoul Music Week, Rajasthan Folk Festival in India, and Foushan China Chic Festival last December.

For their Maltese New Year’s Eve tour, special guests include Neapolitan singer Irene Scarpato, known as the voice of the trio Suonno d’ajere, and clarinettist Sergio Dileo from Bagarija Orkestar, who will also enrich the live sets with his double identity as DJ Kandirali. Additionally, Davide Della Monica from La Mescla will join them, creating the Napoli Stocco & Patane Orchestra, offering an extended repertoire spanning the shores of Mediterranean countries.
